The Shaw Neighborhood is located on the near south side of St. Louis, adjacent to the Missouri Botanical Gardens and Tower Grove Park. Shaw is a local historic district, containing a variety of housing, from beautiful grand homes to multifamily dwellings. The result is rich diversity among the neighborhood's residents. Boundaries are Interstate 44 on the North, Magnolia Avenue on the South, S. Grand Boulevard on the East and Tower Grove Avenue on the West.
