The Delmar Loop (The Loop) is a vibrant entertainment, restaurant, and shopping district that extends along Delmar Blvd. in University City and St. Louis, Missouri. A century ago, streetcars from downtown St. Louis "looped around" Delmar Blvd., then returned to the city, giving rise to the nickname for this part of town.
