The Union Covered Bridge is the only remaining bridge in the state of Missouri of the Burch Arch Truss design. It is 120 feet long, 17', 6" wide, and 12 feet high - the perfect size to carry across a wagon load of hay, back in the day. The bridge was completed in 1871 and named after the Union Church which stood nearby. For more information, see Union Covered Bridge.
